This folder contains the active prototype documentation for the Battery Simulation Tool project.

Document set:

• PROJECT_BRIEF.md - overview, purpose, scope, and release intent
• URS.md - user requirements specification
• FS.md - functional specification for the MVP
• DS.md - design specification and technical approach
• FILE_STRUCTURE.md - proposed page and module structure
• PAGE_SPEC.md - page layout, UI behavior, and content structure
• SIMULATION_SPEC.md - simulation rules and calculation boundaries
• RISK_ASSESSMENT.md - initial delivery and product risks
• TEST_PLAN.md - prototype verification strategy

These markdown files are the source of truth. Matching HTML mirrors are rendered into this same folder through the shared docs render pipeline.

• HomeWizard-oriented data import
• interactive KPI and Plotly-based analysis output

Current non-goals:

• live battery or inverter control
• account-based storage
• backend-required simulation
• guaranteed real-world financial prediction
